| | WERECON water treatment products fall in to the following three types of systems:
- pH Control Systems
WERECON pH control systems are designed to control the pH of irrigation water using an acidic additive. This additive is generally either sulfuric acid, or urea sulfate (sometimes called pHAIRWAY®, or N-phuric), although in special applications, other types of acid could be used. These systems are extremely beneficial in areas where water is alkaline, high in salts, or high in TDS. Before selecting a pH control system, you should have your water analyzed, and verify that your problem can be solved by pH control. Then you should select which type of acid product you would like to use. Due to the different handling requirements of the various chemicals, not all WERECON systems work with all acidification agents. -
- Fertigation Systems
WERECON fertigation systems are designed to add precise amounts of liquid fertilizers to irrigation water. Almost all of these systems are proportional, meaning that they inject varying amounts of product corresponding to the water flow from the system. This is very important so that you can ensure a constant chemical-to-water ratio in order to receive the same amount of nutrients at high flow rates as you do at low flow rates. -
- pH and Fertigation Systems
Our complete line of pH/Fertigation systems are capable of both precision fertigation, as well as pH control. These systems are useful in situations where there are alkaline water problems, as well as a desire to inject one or more fertilizer products. |
